General Questions

What does IneedHelpwith do?

A personal assistant supports you with administrative, organisational, and everyday tasks—helping you save time, reduce stress, and focus on what matters most. The specific task is being pre-discussed and pre-agreed with you. If this is a one off tasks or becomes an ongoing partnership is something you decide. Based on past experience with other clients, the more we know about you/ the more we do for you, the more efficient it gets. We will think much beyond the individual task and try to makes suggestions matching your personal situation.

 

How quickly can we get started?

Ideally you send us a contact request, WhatsApp us or call us and we directly agree on a first introductory call where we discuss how we can help you and what your current situation is. If required, you can then share some more background information with us, which we will quickly review and revert with question. In principle, directly afterwards we will start working for you and soon present the first results.

 

Do I have a fixed contract? Are one-off tasks possible as well?

Post our first introductory call and once you decide you want us to work for you, we will agree and sign a service agreement which outlines the framework of our services and how we work. The agreement will also define the payment terms. The term will stay over the whole period of our cooperation. Afterwards, you decide with work you want to allocate to us and what we can do for you. At any point of time you can stop allocating tasks to us and/ terminate the contract. Therefore one-off tasks are doable as well.

 

What makes IneedHelpwith different to other expat agencies?

While other expat agencies stop their work when the visa is arranged, the house is found and the insurance contract signed, our service offering starts. We can of course also cover all those tasks, but that is not what makes us unique. While other expat agencies only offer very standardized services, our offering is defined by you. You tell us how we can help you. And if these are less complex tasks like finding the right telecom provider for your home, reviewing various documents, dealing with your landlord or speaking to authorities on your behalf, there are almost no limitations of what we can do for you. And this is, what other expat agencies can do for you. 

 

Is this service only available to Expats?

No, the service is not only available to Expats. It is primarily designed for people looking for support with 

 

Is this service only available to private individuals or also business?

The offering is primarily addressed to private individuals, given here we can add most value and best leverage of expertise. But in general we also work for business.

 

Do I need to speak German? What other languages are supported?

No, there is no need for you to speak German, but if you do: even better. Currently there is the prerequisite that you speak at least English (or: some German), so we can communicate. In the future it is planned to also support other languages. It is important for us, that we are able to interact, because we can be more efficient, the better we understand your task and the more we know about your background. Therefore, language and communication amongst us is key. We are fully bilingual and can support you in both languages.

 

Do I need to live or work in Germany? Or can I also live/ work abroad?

In principle it doesn't matter for us, where you live and work. But with our service offering, network and expertise we are focusing on Germany only so far. Therefore, the task you are giving to us, should ideally have a German angle. If that's not given, we need to discuss and agree, if this is a task, where we can create value for you.

 

Can I request urgent or last-minute help?

Yes, of course. We can immediately start working for you after our first introductory call. 

 

 

Before we get started

Can I book a one-service or trial?

Yes, you can book a one-service or trial. Generally, as you decide what task you allocate to us and you decide if you want to continue making use of us, once the first tasks is successfully solved, it is completely your decision, if, how and when you want to use us. As we know from our past client, our offering become more efficient, the more insight we have and the more background information we have. 

 

What do you need from me in before?

Our services are based on a service contract to be entered between you and us. The contract either comes in German or English, but can be translated into any other language for a convenience translation. The contract outlines, how we work, how we receive instructions from you, how we report our work and how we account and bill for our work. The contract itself doesn't set any obligations for you. Any obligation only comes, once you handed over the first tasks. To verify your identity, we require a copy of your valid ID and a copy of your most recent mobile phone or electricity bill. This allows us to know exactly who we are working with and where to send our invoice once the work has been completed. You want us to interact with authorities on your behalf, they are sometimes asking us for an official power of attorney. If this is needed, we will prepare a draft in before with a very defined scope, where the tasks you want us to work on are well described.

 

 

How to work with us

Will always the same person work for me?

Given the tasks you hand over to us are very personal and also given we believe, the better we know you, the more effective we can find solutions for you and help you, the same person will always work for you, unless there are operational reasons to involve an other colleagues. Those can be the absence (e.g. because of a vaction) of the person working for you or we believe a particular tasks can be better handled by another colleague (with more expertise in a particular area). But this will remain the rarity. 

 

Can I meet the person working for me in person?

We are supporting you remotely (via email, whatsapp, video call, phone, letter etc.) and this mainly 24/7 across the entire year. For clients this feels like, we are always around and in particular when you need us. But if you want to meet the person working for you, we can certainly arrange this. Or depending on the task, it is even beneficial to meet in person (e.g. if you ask us to attend certain meetings or similar). We will jointly decide what is best for you.

 

What types of tasks can I outsource?

Generally, almost all kind of administrative and arraning tasks can be outsourced to us. We work on your tasks with great care and solve them most efficiently in your best interest. To ensure that this can be done, we upfront agree what you want us to do and what the objective is. To find out, what we could do for you, please contact us. The first introductory call is free of charge.

 

Who are the typical clients?

People who we work for in principle have something in common: They do have a task which they either can't solve themselves or which they feel someone else could solve more efficiently or they simply want to outsource a task to save time and energy. On the page who we work for we have given a few example of who our potential clients are. Have a look, if you find yourself named.

 

How is sensitive information being handled?

Confidentiality and trust are the foundation of our relation with you. We handle sensitive information with great care and use secure, encrypted tools to handle any personal data, In case data is being stored virtually, we only use servers located in Germany which complete comply with German data protection laws and standards. So you can be confident that your data is always protected.

 

Does IneedHelpwith provide legal, tax or investment advise?

We generally don't provide legal, tax or financial advise, but can refer you to those. Nevertheless we do have a profound knowledge of legal, tax and financial topics as well. We will directly liaise and interact with those and as we know about your background, we will ensure your requirements are met. 

 

Can you help elderly clients or those with mobility issues?

Certainly. We have in depth experience with past client and will be glad to support you. If this is calling the plumber, organizing your new mobile contract, dealing with the care service or the authorities, we can take this over for you.. Our team members are specialized and will be glad to assist you.

 

Do you also work for people, who need special assistance?

Ofcourse! Your wish is our command. People who need special assistance sometime face additional challenges navigating systems designed for the able-bodied. By outsourcing administrative tasks - like specialized healthcare coordination, personal assistance or advocacy services - they gain expert support to live a full and empowered life. 

Pricing and Invoicing

How much does the service cost to me?

A personal assistant supports you with administrative, organisational, and everyday tasks — helping you save time, reduce stress, and focus on what matters most. Each task is discussed and agreed with you in advance. Whether you need help with a one‑off task or prefer to build an ongoing partnership is entirely your decision.

From our experience with other clients, the more we learn about you — and the more tasks you delegate to us — the more efficient and proactive our support becomes. We think beyond the individual task and offer suggestions tailored to your personal situation.

We charge on a per‑minute basis at EUR 1.58 (including VAT, if applicable). Since many everyday errands only take a few minutes, the cost for each service is often just a few euros — while the time and energy you save are truly priceless.

Trial offer: You receive a 25% discount on the hourly rate during your first month, for up to 5 hours of support. Any unused hours cannot be carried over to the following month.

 

How does the invoicing work?

When ever a certain threshold is reached, but at least once a month we will send you an invoice for the services rendered in that period. The invoice includes a statement of work which exactly shows the performed task and the amount of time it has taken us. Also, on a weekly basis we submit an interim statement of work to you. Thereby, at any point of time, you exactly know, what we are being working on for you. The invoice is payble within 2 weeks via bank transfer.

 

Is there a minimum time booking?

No, there is no minimum time booking. Our service are invoice on a per minute basis. Therefore you only pay what you get for.
